A material error should be corrected promptly and transparently. A new development should be published as an update, not silently substituted for the original record.

Send the story URL, the exact disputed passage, what you believe is wrong, and supporting primary evidence through the contact page. Specific evidence lets the editorial desk investigate faster.
What happens next
The desk reviews the cited evidence and the story’s source record. If a material correction is warranted, the public article should explain what changed and why. Clarifications that do not alter the central facts may be labeled separately.
Developing stories
Material later developments are published as linked updates under the same event history. Earlier public articles are preserved instead of being silently merged away.
